Wawa is also an acclaimed Hip Hop Recording Artist from the DC/MD/VA area, known for pioneering the unique genre “Dip Hop” (Hip Hop through deaf eyes). Since 2005, his charismatic and diligent persona has captivated audiences and earned critical acclaim. Wawa’s music blends audio and imagery to educate and inspire, showcasing deaf musicians in the hearing world. His albums, including “Deaf: So What?!”, “Wamilton”, and “Unapologetically ___”, turn perceived disadvantages into strengths.

Notably, Wawa performed at Super Bowl LV and LVI and appeared on TV shows like Black Lightning and Fear The Walking Dead, solidifying his influence in both music and acting.
