Wawa is also an acclaimed Hip Hop Recording Artist from the DC/MD/VA area, known for pioneering the unique genre “Dip Hop” (Hip Hop through deaf eyes). Wawa’s music blends audio and imagery to educate and inspire, showcasing deaf musicians in the hearing world. His albums, including “Deaf: So What?!”, “Wamilton”, and “Unapologetically ___”, turn perceived disadvantages into strengths.
